Nymphs were beautiful young female divine forms. They lived in the wild and wondered around the mountains with Goddess Artemis.
They sang and danced in the meadows, on the mountainsides, near the lakes and next to the river beds. Legend has them as Zeus’s daughters. As spirits of the water, they emphasised its significance to life. They moved around mountains connecting and integrating with flora and trees.
